More To Say

I completely forgot to mention that the annual Cops versus Firefighters game was a couple Saturday's ago. We won. They beat us last year and as the coordinator of the event from the fire department side, I have taken a lot of crap for it. For the three weeks before the game I was emailed by so many Sheriff's Office guys talking crap that this game became a must win. It is suppose to be all in fun, and for the most part it is...but it is much more fun to go home the winner! Unified Fire Firefighters won 5 to 2. Our awesome Fire Department photographer took pictures for us. The pictures posted here are his, used with semi-permission. To see the whole neat-o gallery, click here http://www.pbase.com/unifiedfire/ffvcopssoftball09

I look like a dork I know, but these two pictures were my main
contribution to the win. I went 0 for 4 at the plate! One was a
strike out looking, but the Ump made the worst strike call I have
ever seen. If you see any Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office
guys, tell them better luck next year from me! Be sure to check
out the sweet trophy that was presented to us by the Kearns
Crime Prevention Association, who sponsor
the game each year. The trophy is in the
photos in the link above. Be sure to read the
lower post too, I have updated twice this week!

That was such a fun game to watch, and I know Rob had a blast playing. Thanks for all your efforts putting the team together. It's always a great time.
Oh, and about the pics...at least you're not laying on the ground winking at Fitz like my darling husband.

Congrats. That's big.

We were in Herriman last Monday and watched United Fire Dept. (or the Search and Rescue) pull the drown victim out of the new lake there. Nightmare. You guys have a tough job.

Anyway, on a lighter note, it looks like the game was a lot of fun. And bragging rights are priceless... enjoy.

Ok Mr. Big City!!! Yes a night to a hotel in Lehi is a mini vacation for us small town folk :) But then again if you think about it when the big city folk go to a petting zoo I get to laugh because they actually pay money to pet animals that are my kids pets in the back yard! Don't hate--appreciate! LOL

That's a pretty cool win, even with dorky pictures. I'm impressed!

So this is in response to your latest comment on my blog. Do you do that to Rebecca too? I thought it was only Dave.
