Tierra is in a pre-preschool class that she goes to a couple of times a week. She loves it and it amazes me how much she learns. She has seemingly aged tons over the couple of months. This past week has been a hard one for her, she has been a little sick. She has been throwing up this week. I have to share a couple of funny/profound things that have resulted from this. One of the mornings after she had thrown up the night before, she said to me, "Daddy, throwing up is not fun. I don't want to do it anymore." While Rebecca was trying to relate to her by saying that "Mommy threw up all the time when she was pregnant with you." Tierra's reply was, "oh, I must be pregnant!" One of the pictures is of her and an unsolicited pose. I merely said, Tierra I am going to take a picture, and she immediately struck the "4 year old Diva" look.
Eli is getting better at speaking, but still avoids most of his consenants. We took a trip a few weeks ago down south with a few of the family, Eli and his cousin Jenna (in the picture) jibberjabbered the whole 2-3 hour trip as if they understood each other. It was quite funny.
We have also taken another trip to Disneyland since last post, and plan to go again in about 3 weeks. I am sure you are all getting sick of the Disneyland trips, but it really is the only "vacation" we take. We all have a great time, so you all have to deal with hearing about it. We have about 2-3 more trips planned between now and May when our annual passes expire.
Rebecca is still in the primary presidency and tomorrow is the annual primary program that she has been primarily responsible for. It has kept her very busy. She is still consistently running 3 times a week with a few other ladies from the neighborhood as well. In addition to everything else she does, she has recently been hosting the Relief Society monthly book club meetings at our house.
Everything is pretty much the same with me. I still work days. It has improved a little bit because they moved me to an office at one of our fire stations. It is better and nicer to have an office versus a cubicle. The job itself is still the same busy but boring stuff, but at least I have my own office. I am able to get a lot more work done as well. Being in the main headquarters was distracting because so many people wander by and want to talk for a few minutes. Now, I am pretty much by myself at a station. The station crew is there, but it is such a busy station that they really don't have time to bug me.
Our family as a whole is well. We enjoy hearing from all of you. Don't forget about us. I have had a request to include a picture of our dog, so here is Bosco. It is a few months old, but he looks exactly the same, so enjoy. If I think about it I will take new pictures of him in the first snow storm. He loves the snow.
That is the extent of our lives at this time. If I had permission, I would have included pictures of Matt Earle and his son's Halloween costumes, they dressed up like transformers with transforming costumes. It was so cool. Everyone that knows Matt should email him and ask him for copies.
